Geodetski Zavod Slovenije d. d. Employs Intergraph’s Digital Mapping Camera for Central European Projects

GZS d.d. Collects New Quality Data Within Days of System Delivery

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., August 22, 2006 -- Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR) today announced the Geodetski Zavod Slovenije d.d. (GZS) purchased the Intergraph Z/I Imaging® DMC® (Digital Mapping Camera) system, marking it as the first commercial company in East Europe photogrammetry market. The system includes complete airborne and back office components (hardware and software) for digital data acquisition and processing, as well as direct georeferencing capability.

Slovenia, a 20.273 km2 Central European country with 2 million inhabitants and a growing economy, recently joined European Union. GZS reflects this growth, especially with increased share of international markets.

We needed a new flexible camera system, which will allow us to shorten the data acquisition time and at the same time, improve the quality and accuracy. After the first photo-flights, we could see that Intergraph’s DMC performs very well also in low-light conditions delivering high quality data in impressive scale range,” said Radomir Vučković, Executive Manager, GZS. “The DMC solution, complete with back office post-processing components, has been seamlessly plugged into our existing production line without any difficulties. We began the full digital production with the new quality of data instantly. Within days after the DMC delivery and install, we were able to complete some small projects in our country and the first government projects abroad in record time.“
