Fundraising Mentor David Jones Releases New Guidebook For Nonprofits

David Jones was born, educated and works in Sydney Australia,. He also works in the US. Mr. Jones has a long and successful career working at senior executive levels for substantial blue chip organizations around the world including NAB, Westpac, BNZ, HBS, CBA and most recently Destiny Rescue. He now consults and acts as a fundraising mentor for charities and not-for-profits internationally.

Residing at the CEO and General Management levels in major corporations for the last 25 years, Mr. Jones is now taking his vast experience and knowledge to show charities and not-for-profits how to do it themselves. Through a series of handbooks entitled; Raising Funds Across the World, A Guide to Intelligent Volunteering, Mr. Jones delivers basic and practical steps that he states are vital for nonprofits and other organizations to successfully enhance their bottom line, while staying compliant with local and federal laws.

During his most recent tenure at Destiny Rescue, an organization involved in the rescue, care, and protection of vulnerable children caught up in trafficking and slavery, Mr. Jones was able to attract a much wider and compliant  fundraiser base with donations and revenues that more than doubled during that period. Destiny Rescue has now expanded into eleven countries around the world.

According to Giving USA  Americans donated an estimated $316.23 billion to charitable causes in 2012. However, the agency also stated that 72% of US charitable giving comes directly from individuals.
