UNVEILING A REDEFINED VALUE ADDED PROPOSITION FOCUSED ON THE NEEDS OF PLASTIC PROCESSORS TODAY

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ -- AUGUST 14, 2006 -- Triad Plastics, Inc., a global reseller and distributor of plastic raw materials, is pleased to announce the details of three distinct initiatives conceived to better satisfy the expanding needs of its manufacturing customer base. First, today marks the release of Phase I of Triad’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) Program. Using advanced, web-based technology, this secure platform permits customers to easily integrate relative financial and logistics data into their own proprietary systems. Second, having concluded its first full year of operations, Ding Xie Plastics, Triad’s Chinese affiliate, is introducing several new service areas designed to further define the synergies that exist between the markets of North America and Asia. These added functions, complementing Ding Xie’s existing supply capabilities and valuable market understanding, provide unique opportunities for processors looking at, or participating in, overseas expansion. Finally, the organization is excited to unveil its newest material offerings: Triad Plastics-Generic Prime Polyethylene, Polypropylene and Polystyrene product lines.

“The addition of Generic Prime product to our Branded Prime and non-Prime availabilities represents one of a few steps we’re taking this summer to redefine the value we bring to the market,” said Stan Walters, President of Triad Plastics. He continued, “Following an extensive research period, we’ve developed several interesting business solutions for those companies looking beyond North America as part of their growth plan. As well, for those organizations focused on gaining greater efficiencies at home, we’re now providing our entire customer base with systems-tools designed to help better manage logistics.”

In conjunction with the launch of its redesigned website, Triad Plastics has brought online an interactive service center that offers its customers’ Purchasing, Production Planning and Accounting departments daily status updates on all existing business. To deliver even greater resource management tools, Triad plans to implement Phase II of its SCM Program in late 2006/early 2007.

Aimed at supporting its customer base as North American and Asian markets grow more interdependent, Triad set up Ding Xie Plastics, its first Asian branch office, in early 2005. Through the efforts of staff and management, the Shanghai-based group has quickly established its presence throughout the continent. With a variety of contacts that include regional resin producers, local government manufacturing associations and international freight concerns, Ding Xie/Triad is able to provide quality polymers, market data, and consulting services to its valued customers.

To complement this expansion of geography, Triad has introduced its own line of Generic Prime products; offering manufacturers the highest quality resins, suitable for critical and non-critical applications, alike. Today, these Polyolefin and Styrenic materials, available in railcar and truckload volumes, can be delivered to any location across North America from one of more than 40 strategic distribution centers. Looking forward, the company is building distribution hubs of a similar design to serve the Asian market.
