New Oil & Gas Manager appointed at Special Material Company

We are pleased to announce Charlie Neale has joined Special Materials Company as its new Oil & Gas Manager in the North American region.Mr. Neale will be responsible for the management and support of key accounts and the sales strategy of SMC Oil & Gas Business and will be based in Louisiana.

Charlie Neale is a qualified microbiologist and water treatment expert. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Southeastern Louisiana State University as well as graduate studies in Aquatic Toxicology and Environmental Management.

He has over 24 years’ experience in specialty chemicals predominantly in industrial water treatment applications, waste remediation and most recently Oil & Gas applications. Charlie Neale has worked for Callaway Chemicals / Vulcan Performance Chemicals in the 1990’s and more recently with Kemira as Key Account Manager Oil & Gas in Holden, Louisiana.
