Lansing, MI – WEBWIRE

AIHce 2014 is an ideal opportunity for us at ABIH to meet with CIHs and those who plan on achieving certification to enhance their careers.

On May 31st, industrial hygiene professionals from across the globe will converge in San Antonio, Texas.  They will be coming to attend and participate in the annual American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce).  This year’s conference theme is Evolution & Journey to a Safer Tomorrow.

The event brings together thousands of industrial hygiene and safety professionals for six days of educational sessions and networking opportunities. According to the AIHce conference website, “AIHce is designed to enhance knowledge of important topics and build strong relationships with other professionals. A variety of courses, sessions, posters, lectures, workshops and luncheon discussions address professional development, scientific issues, management trends, industry innovations, and much more.”

One of this year’s gold sponsors is the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH).  Since 1960, ABIH, a not-for-profit corporation, has been the world’s largest, premier organization for certifying professionals in the practice of industrial hygiene.  Thousands of industrial hygiene professionals attending AIHce 2014 have earned the prestigious Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification administered by ABIH.  Many others plan to achieve certification in their future.

“AIHce 2014 is an ideal opportunity for us at ABIH to meet with CIHs and those who plan on achieving certification to enhance their careers,” said Lynn O’Donnell, CIH, Executive Director for the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.  “We invite those in attendance to stop by and meet representatives of ABIH and learn about new developments as we continue to grow and evolve to serve our Diplomats and Applicants. The event is also an excellent opportunity to earn CM credits to maintain certification while learning new skills and networking.”

ABIH is a featured exhibitor and will be exhibiting at booth #6070.
