McMurray Stern, Along with AIA OC Chapter, Will be Hosting an Evening Presentation and Giving Tours of the Storage Systems at the Muzeo in Anaheim, CA

SANTA FE SPRINGS - MARCH 31, 2013 - McMurray Stern, Southern California’s leader in innovative storage development and records management solutions, will be joining with the AIA OC Chapter to host an evening presentation, tours, and networking opportunities at the Muzeo in Anaheim, CA.  McMurray Stern’s high-density mobile system is installed and used in the museum and will be on display for AIA members to tour and see. 

The AIA OC Chapter is the American Institute of Architects Orange County.  They are dedicated to providing Lifelong Learning opportunities and continued education to all of their members.  All members are required to complete 18 Learning Unit Hours per year, and this event counts towards those hours. 

Members will have the opportunity to tour the high density mobile system installed in the museum, a system that is the “first seismic approved application of adhesives rather than physical anchors on post-tension slab in California” (mcmurraystern.com).  Local architects will learn about storage systems that can withstand the earthquakes of Southern California and how to best utilize them in their designs while also earning AIA Learning Unit Hours to keep their membership status.  The presentation will also cover strategies to planning the development of college campuses and environments and how to incorporate thoughtful and unique storage solutions to facilitate highly functional interior designs that are required on college campuses.

Learning Units : 1 AIA HSW LU or .1 IDCEC CEU hour.
