California Southern University to speak at the iDate Mobile Dating Conference June 4-6, 2014 in Beverly Hills

New York, NY--Ticonderoga Ventures, Inc. announces that California Southern University will present at the 38th iDate Mobile Dating Conference ( http://www.idate2014.com )  The event takes place on June 4-6, 2014 at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Professor Jonathan Rich of California Southern University will discuss the use of personality assessment for matching couples.  Dr. Rich, in collaboration with anthropologist and best-selling author Helen Fisher, Ph.D., created the personality test used by the online dating service, Chemistry.com, a subsidiary of Match.com.  This test groups people into four personality types: the Explorer, Builder, Director and Negotiator.  After analyzing the results from hundreds of thousands of dating-site participants, Drs. Rich and Fisher discovered that certain types are drawn to each other.  Dr. Rich suggests that “We are starting to discover the basis for the ‘spark’ that people experience when they fall in love.”
 
At the conference, Dr. Rich will review his own and others’ research into romantic compatibility and will talk about how this information can be applied by dating services to better match couples.  According to Dr. Rich, personality-based matching can increase the chances that a couple will feel romantic chemistry, and increase the likelihood that their relationship will endure.
