The new release of nablet MPEG-2 Codec includes several completely new features especially for use in the broadcast market. These include:
- Highly accurate Bitrate control
- “Stream-Glue” – Smart Rendering to allow perfect CBR/VBR bitrate allocation over stream boundaries
- Advanced look-ahead mode for realtime 2-pass encode
- Special offline mode with extended quasi 2-pass look-ahead for best possible encoding quality
- Locked CPU-usage mode to avoid peaks or hang in CPU usage
In addition, the SDK includes support 32 and 64 Bit version on Windows, Mac OS and Linux as well.
