Rizos Joins Stanley Consultants as International Business Leader

Stanley Consultants has hired Mario Rizos as Senior Vice President and Business Leader of the company’s International Business Unit. Based in Washington, D.C., he will direct all activities within the International Business Unit, including strategy development, business development, operational performance, client relationships, quality, and financial performance. Stanley Consultants currently provides international consulting services to clients in the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, Middle East, and the Pacific.

Rizos brings 25 years of experience leading and managing multimillion dollar international private development and governmental organizations. A highly experienced leader, he has enabled strategic organizational expansion by developing and enhancing strong teams in support of various business lines and objectives. Prior to joining Stanley Consultants, he held various leadership positions with Cardno, International Relief and Development (IRD), and Chemonics. He also served as an officer for EuropeAid, the international assistance and development branch of the European Commission, EU.

Rizos earned a civil engineering degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. He is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Greek Society of Civil Engineers, and the Technical Chamber of Greece.
