GuideDoc.com names Sedona Soul Adventures Couples Retreats #1 in US

GuideDoc has named Sedona Soul Adventures Couples Retreats #1 in their list of “8 Best Marriage Counseling Retreats in the US”. Debra Stangl, founder of Sedona Soul Adventures, said “we are so honored. We didn’t even know anything about this until one of our clients told us about it! In naming Sedona Soul Adventures Couples Retreats as #1, GuideDoc says Sedona Soul Adventures offers “One of the top marriage retreats in the US... with a focus on spirituality. Stangl said, “one of the reasons our Couples Retreats are so incredible is because each one is customized for each couple. We spend a lot of time speaking with each person before they come to Sedona, to really get an idea of what’s going on, what’s happening, and what they want to have happen. Then we custom design a retreat for the couple’s particular needs”. Interestingly, prior to starting Sedona Soul Adventures in 2002, Stangl was a divorce attorney in Omaha, Nebraska for over 20 years. A trip to Sedona in January, 1999 was, as she says “life changing” and led her to close her practice and ultimately move to Sedona and start Sedona Soul Adventures. She said, “It’s kind of crazy that for over 20 years I was helping people get divorced, now I’m helping them stay together. That feels much better”.
 
When asked what couples are most looking for in a Couples Retreat, Stangl replied “it’s very different from couple to couple. Some people are in real crisis and I’m proud to say we’ve saved a lot of marriages. Some people have a good relationship but want to take it to the next level.
