"It has been a unique pleasure to assist IIC in developing a marketing strategy to increase awareness of their innovative technology."

South Bend, IN: Indiana Integrated Circuit, LLC (IIC) today announced the launch of a new company website at www.indianaic.com. The company was assisted by Indiana Small Business Development Center consultant Alan Steele who coordinated the project with website developers, Precept Partners of Buchanan, Michigan.

IIC’s president, Jason Kulick said, “As an advanced technology company one of our biggest marketing challenges is in explaining what we do in a clear, concise way. Our ISBDC consultant, Alan Steele, helped us clarify our story and define a marketing plan that included a complete redesign of our website design to better explain our Quilt Packaging technologies and related micro-fabrication, design and R&D services.”

ISBDC Business Advisor Alan Steele said, “It has been a unique pleasure to assist IIC in developing a marketing strategy to increase awareness of their innovative technology. Precept Partners understood the need to provide a clear explanation of IIC’s complex technology and succeeded in developing a website that fulfills that requirement.  Facilitating IIC’s collaboration with Precept Partners is representative of our ongoing effort to connect clients with a comprehensive network of resources to help grow their businesses.”

Elaborating on the company’s Quilt Packaging technology, Kulick added, “The core principle of Quilt Packaging (QP) technology is the fact that it enables multiple ICs to be integrated into a larger “die” that performs essentially as if it were monolithic. This unique and valuable characteristic derives directly from the superior electrical performance of the QP interconnect structures themselves. QP has demonstrated very high performance across an extremely wide bandwidth, and enables sub-micron chip-to-chip alignment as well.”

Commenting on the company’s new website, Precept Partner’s chief technology officer Jeffrey Antisdel said, “The shift from desktop computers to mobile devices has changed the paradigm for website usability. The new IndianaIC.com website is easy to navigate on devices of many different sizes. From desktops to smartphones, and everything in between, the layout is clean and navigation is consistent.”

Indiana Integrated Circuits is based at Innovation Park, near Notre Dame University, in South Bend, Indiana.

About Indiana Integrated Circuits,
LLC

Indiana Integrated Circuits, LLC (IIC) was created by two University of Notre Dame researchers for the purpose of commercializing a revolutionary microchip interconnect and packaging technology, Quilt Packaging (QP). Working closely with customers and partners, the IIC team assists in the implementation of QP into existing process flows, performs proof-of-concept prototyping, and develops application-specific solutions for licensees. IIC has since grown to also become a provider of micro-fabrication and prototyping services, executing a variety of R&D projects in addition to Quilt Packaging. IIC customers range from large defense contractors to MEMS foundries to start-ups. IIC provides custom fabrication options for proof-of-concept studies, process development work, and low-volume production.
