McMurray Stern Continues to Promote Talent from Within

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – January 17, 2013 – McMurray Stern, Southern California’s leader for innovative storage systems and records management solutions, has a reputation creating opportunities for talented team members who’ve already proven themselves. The decision was recently made to promote someone who started as a receptionist/administrative assistant nearly four years ago. “For us, loyal, talented associates are an invaluable asset and they deserve to be recognized as such.” says John Fisher, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Promoting from within is a great business decision.”
 
Lisa Martin, who started in administration and worked her way up to accounts payable, was grateful for the chance to not only embark on a new career trajectory, but also face some new challenges and increase her leadership potential. “I am extremely grateful for the chance to have this promotion,” says Martin. “With four years already invested at McMurray Stern, it’s a privilege to see them invest their trust in me.”
 
With dozens of projects going on throughout Southern California, McMurray Stern relies on its project coordinators to wear several different hats while helping project managers ensure many elements fall into place. In addition to a keen sense of detail and organization, the project coordinator must also be able to communicate clearly with many team members working within different facets of the company. Whether they are scheduling a build, delivery of goods or doing triage with a customer, the project coordinator is often the “face of the company” and needs to ensure brand integrity throughout the process.
