MBM Insurance Resource Center Gives Gratitude to the IAQ Community during Thanksgiving

Each year, countless Americans are impacted by tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and wildfires.  Virtually all of society lives in an area that can be impacted by some type of natural disaster. 
 
When one of these natural disasters occurs, homes, businesses and all of the institutions that society depends on can be damaged and contaminated by indoor air quality pollutants. Water damage from floods and storms often leads to mold growth indoors and other microbial and even chemical concerns. Wildfires can spread soot over large areas, creating property damage and health concerns in all types of structures.  Even lead-based paints and asbestos remain a concern in countless properties from coast to coast.
