Nashville, TN October 16, 2013 – Inspiring children to become their own hero is the message author and composer, Vivian Slade, and illustrator, Vivian’s daughter, Johanna Burr, hope to impart with their tale, “The Dragon King”, free on Amazon Kindle, October 29th-31st.  The book was inspired by the real life encounter with a young boy named Ethan, whom Vivian met in 2006 on the pediatric burn unit of Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.  It was that chance meeting that inspired her to create a story which she hoped would instill in Ethan the courage to “fight the fire” and win.
