MATS Announces 2014 Motor Sports Extravaganza In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – MATS, an annual, three-day motor sports extravaganza in Las Vegas, Nev., today announced its 2014 event would be held April 11-13 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
 
The automotive enthusiast event built by “People, Passion and Performance,” MATS has grown over the years to include a multi-class drag racing program, “Pony Car Wars,” vintage and late-model car show, swap meet, manufacturer’s midway, car corral, autocross, off-road poker run, and numerous other competitions.
 
The theme of this year’s event is “The 50th Anniversary of the Hemi®,” honoring the development and legacy of Chrysler® Corporation’s revolutionary Hemi engine design employing hemispherical combustion chambers for enhanced performance in a wide range of applications.
