Samsung Enterprise Business Division Celebrates Prestigious Channel Award Wins

CRN’s Annual Report Card Winner for Flat Panel Displays and UBM XCellence Award Winner in Healthcare and Education

Ridgefield Park, NJ – Samsung Electronics America, Inc. has been recognized with recent honors from UBM, a provider of IT channel focused events, media and research, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the channel. UBM’s CRN Magazine recognized Samsung for its standing in the 2013 Annual Report Card (ARC), a prestigious study considered the benchmark for measuring excellence in the IT Channel and recognizes top-rated vendor partners. Samsung was also recognized for XCellence in Healthcare and Education during UBM’s XChange event on August 21st and 22nd in Washington D.C.

“CRN’s Annual Report Card”
Samsung was recognized as the overall category winner for Flat Panel Displays 19“-30” on CRN’s Annual Report Card (ARC). The company tied for the support sub-category and won for the product innovation sub-category for Flat Panel Displays. CRN’s Annual Report Card surveyed more than 2,200 solution providers across 18 product and service categories and results were based on direct feedback from providers. Respondents evaluated their satisfaction with vendor partners on criteria within three major areas: product innovation, support and partnership.

“XChange Public Sector 2013 XCellence Awards”
Samsung was also recognized for its Healthcare and Education Programs, winning the UBM XChange Public Sector 2013 XCellence Award in both categories. These awards were based on selections by attendees at the 2013 XChange Public Sector event and highlighted the vendor companies that were deemed Best in Show by attending channel partners.
