Ferrovial to manage maintenance at Madrid hospitals for over 108 million euro

Ferrovial Services, a subsidiary of Ferrovial, has been awarded two maintenance contracts covering a number of hospitals and specialised care centres attached to the Madrid Regional Health Service. The three-year contracts, with the possibility of a three-year extension, are worth a total of over 108 million euro.

Madrid - Ferrovial, through subsidiary Ferrovial Services, has been awarded two three-year contracts by the Madrid Regional Health Service for end-to-end maintenance of a number of hospitals and specialised care centres. The contracts are worth 108.2 million euro combined.

The contracts may be extended by another three years, which would increase the backlog to more than 216 million euro over a six-year period.

“This award consolidates Ferrovial Services as a key player in hospital management and maintenance within the Madrid region and in Spain as a whole,” said Santiago Olivares, CEO of Ferrovial Services.

Ferrovial Services will take charge of maintaining the following hospitals: La Paz, 12 de Octubre, Hospital Central de la Cruz Roja, Severo Ochoa (Leganés), Cantoblanco, Móstoles, Fuenfría and José Germain.
