OKI’s A4 Color Digital LED Printer with White Toner is Awarded ‘Silver’ by Singapore’s HardwareMAG

SINGAPORE - OKI Data Corporation, an OKI Group company specializing in the printer business, today announced the receipt of Hardware Magazine’s(HWM) Silver Award, for its A4 color digital LED printer with white toner, the C711WT in Singapore.

OKI Data Singapore sent the C711WT to HWM – Singapore’s leading IT publication with editions in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines – to be subjected to rigorous lab tests and get a check in suitability of features for the market.

The C711WT came back with strong results, scoring highly on features, user-friendliness, and performance, and slightly less on physique and value, mainly due to its relatively size and weight which is typical of printers in the NIP category (laser and LED), and a higher price tag compared to normal NIP color printers.

HWM was impressed that the C711WT is the first printer in its category to utilize white toner in the printer process. This effectively solves many problems faced by traditional methods that can be slow, expensive, unforgiving and prone to human error and waste. HWM was also impressed with the high quality of printouts by the C711WT, with photo print tests revealing no color banding, and text documents with graphics showing a high level of detail retention in the graphics along with good color saturation. Finally, they were impressed with the performance of the printers, focusing mainly on its speed, which was faster than conventional printers in the market.
