Iberia Consolidates Punctuality Boost with 89% in May

- 95% of domestic and 90% of intra-European flights were on time

- Early days in June saw 89% overall rating maintained, as domestic punctuality climbed to 97%

Madrid, --Iberia achieved an overall 89% flight punctuality record in May, when 95% of its domestic flights and 90% of other European flights departed on time. This made Iberia one of the world’s most punctual network carriers, placing it far above the European average.

Iberia performed even better in the first few days of June, with an 89% rating, 97% for domestic flights, 89% for intra-European flights, and 78% for intercontinental departures.

In the past year the Spanish airline has implemented new measures to boost punctuality, from reorganising flight schedules to streamlining all pre-flight procedures.
