June 19 – 22 at the San Diego Convention Center, Ken Margolis, Owner,  Rick Skinker and Bill Atwell will be demonstrating the 20% - 30%+ reduced water usage of the Flow Control Valves (FCVs) manufactured by Watermiser.  The easily installed stainless steel FCVs reduce water use while maintaining water pressure (PSI) and rinsability for both sinks and showers. Savings for Apartment owners are realized in both water and sewer bills, in addition to the rebates available in many states and communities.  The patent-applied-for FCVs have LEED, IAPMO GREEN (plumbing), Cal Green, and National Green Building Standard certifications performed by the EPA.

The two other products to be showcased are the Watermiser Waterbroom and the 5-Second Toilet & Urinal Leak Detector.  The innovative patented Waterbroom uses the “Venturi Effect”, incorporating both water and air, to clean surfaces faster using less than one-third the water while reducing puddles, runoff, and drying times compared to others on the market.  The 5-Second Leak Detector for toilets and urinals is the only product that can be used in both tank and tankless toilets and urinals in commercial or residential settings, and is a biodegradable, hypoallergenic and non-toxic gel.

At their headquarters in Encinitas, CA, Rick Skinker told us,” Watermiser’s focus is on bringing sustainable cost savings to our customers while helping to reduce their environmental footprints”.  The Cities of Scottsdale, AZ and Fresno and Santa Barbara, CA, as well as Napa and Marin Counties, presently offer rebates or credits for utilizing the water-saving products.  Also, there are incentives in most of Southern California and Nevada available through the water authorities.
