Cigna Earns Full URAC Accreditation for Case Management, Utilization Management and Pharmacy Benefit Management

(NYSE:CI), has earned full accreditation from URAC for the company’s case management and utilization management programs. In addition, Cigna Pharmacy Management has earned full accreditation for its pharmacy benefit management. All of the accreditations are effective for three years and recognize the quality of these customer-focused programs.

URAC is an independent, nonprofit organization that promotes health care quality through its accreditation, education and measurement programs. URAC’s rigorous, nationally-recognized accreditation process typically lasts several months and includes an extensive review of a company’s programs and operations.
