Lacombe, LA – Local electrician Robert Farbe shares his secrets on how to save money on your electric bills. Robert has written a book called “Energy Efficient Homes Explained” that gives tips to make your home energy efficient.
 
After his electric bills rose over $300, Robert set out to reduce that bill.  He decided to keep that money in his pocket rather than in the pockets of the electric companies. He set out by changing the way his family uses power. He started by looking at their electric bills to see exactly the amount of kilowatt hours (kWh) they were using and then made a conscious effort to reduce that. In his book “Energy Efficient Homes Explained”, he takes it a step further by listing low cost and no costs solutions to energy efficiency.
 
Robert has been online since 2008 where he blogs as the Energy Conscious Consultant addressing the needs of his customers and solving their problems. As a state licensed electrical contractor, he heard the same complaints of high electric bills from his local customers.
 
“Efficiency begins at home,” Robert said. “You need to address the problems you have within your home first. Although the environment is a great cause to pursue, consider how much money you could save on your electric bills by using these techniques.”
 
Robert has shown his customers his electric bills by meeting them face to face at local home shows and Earth Day events. He says it is important to explain to customers the process needed to make their home energy efficient. Through his blog, Energy Conscious Consultant, and his new eBook called “Energy Efficient Homes Explained”, Robert suggests tips that can help you save money on your electric bills.
