Bristol Street Mazda to host exclusive January Mazda6 launch event

The new Mazda6 has arrived and, to celebrate the official UK launch, Bristol Street’s Mazda dealership in Bristol is holding an exclusive event at the end of January. With the official launch date set for Friday, January 25, the launch weekend event will take place on January 26-27 in Bristol. If you’re interested in attending, you are advised to register your interest early through the Bristol Street Mazda website, as places for the event are strictly limited.
 
Mazda developed its new model from the CX-5 SUV, which embodies the “KODO – Soul of Motion” design that is set to inform all future Mazda models. The Mazda6 features a bolder impression with a reinvented front grille and sporty bumper, and its aerodynamic lines lead cleanly through to the sporty rear spoiler. The car has been constructed with lightweight materials, meaning the handling benefits from increased agility and cornering.
 
The Mazda6’s cabin has been given a complete makeover. There is more passenger space than ever before, with the driver’s position surrounded by the primary controls, avoiding the need to reach across the cabin. Following thorough testing, EuroNCAP gave the model a top five stars for safety, for the supportive driver assistances, airbags and acclaimed Rear Vehicle Monitoring system.
 
A selection of 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines are available for the Mazda6 on both the Tourer and Saloon models. They all take you from 0-60mph in no more than 10.5 seconds, and the diesel saloon offers an ultimate top speed of 139mph. Each engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, and is built to include Mazda’s revolutionary SKYACTIV technology. The innovative systems offers higher fuel economy and torque as well as reducing CO2 emissions.
