The new Mazda6 launches at Ashford Orbital for 2013

To celebrate the official UK launch of the all-new Mazda6 saloon, the Ashford Orbital car dealership in Kent will hold an exclusive launch event at the end of January. Mazda’s “KODO – Soul of Motion” approach to design can be seen at first glance. The model, which is based on the CX-5 SUV, is styled with bolder curves and a brand new face, along with a unique front grille and a lighter, streamlined chassis. The Mazda6 is more agile than previous models, meaning that tight parking spaces, narrow roads and inner city traffic are all a breeze.
 
The interior of the car is also designed to create a more comfortable and relaxing drive. Premium fabrics are used in the upholstery, and integrated within the cabin are a number of latest technology driver assistance features for a stress-free journey. The Mazda6 has received five stars for safety from EuroNCAP for its extensive airbags, Rear Vehicle Monitoring system and electronic driver assistances.
 
A selection of 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines is offered with the Mazda6 on both the Tourer and Saloon models. They all take you from 0-60mph in no more than 10.5 seconds, with an ultimate top speed of 139mph with the diesel saloon. Each is paired with a six-speed automatic or manual gearbox, and is built to include Mazda’s revolutionary SKYACTIV technology. The new technology offers higher fuel economy and torque, and CO2 emissions are much lower.
