January 2013 – Singapore – Green energy solutions company Cascadiant Pte Ltd. today announced the expansion of its operations into Myanmar.  Cascadiant has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with KTSCL and will be opening of its new office in Yangon, Myanmar’s commercial capital.

Cascadiant and KTSCL will immediately begin marketing its green energy solutions to the Myanmar communications market. “Cascadiant will have a trial of our Managed Energy Service (MES) deployed within the first quarter and we expect to be implementing our first commercial network by the third quarter of this year” said Marshall Towe, Cascadiant founder and CEO.

By entering into Myanmar, Cascadiant now has a presence in 6 countries and is placed to support the rapid expansion of Myanmar’s communication industry that is poised to happen during in 2013.

KTSCL Director KYAW THA commented, "Myanmar is going to have tremendous growth of wireless communications in a short time and with that growth will come the need for stable and high quality energy.” “We are extremely pleased to be working with Cascadiant to provide customers their innovative and clean energy solution”.

The Myanmar government has announced many key infrastructure initiatives including the issuance of an international tender for the licensing of several new wireless operators to meet the demand of its population of over sixty million.

Cascadiant is already working with operators across Asia that are aggressively adopting various forms of clean energy.  Towe concluded, “Our MES™ eliminates the risks operators face when deploying new green technologies.  Our fixed price long-term energy contract provides the very highest level of performance at a total cost of ownership well below that of the outdated and polluting alternatives which means there is no longer any reason for operators to continue to pollute the environment using century old environmentally harmful diesel generators for back-up power”.
