SEAT Ireland is officially Ireland’s fastest growing car brand, according to the 10 day motor industry sales figures analysis provided by SIMI. SEAT has increased its sales by an incredible 117% despite a relatively slow start to 2013 for the industry as a whole.

Cian O’Brien, Director of SEAT Ireland said: "We are delighted with these initial 10 day sales figures which show SEAT as being the fastest growing car brand in Ireland. Our sales are up an amazing 117% when compared to the same period this time last year.

“There is a long way to go in 2013 but we are confident that this is a sign of positive things to come for the brand. SEAT is a brand with fresh ambition and we have superb new products, such as the all new SEAT Leon which launches in March, as well as a major sales and marketing drive to follow this year to keep up this momentum.”

SEAT’s 2013 market share is now at 2.7%, up from 1% for the same period in 2012. This strong start to the year is based on sales of the SEAT Ibiza, Mii City Car and the recently launched Toledo family saloon as well as the performance of the dealer network. This information was valid at the time of print on the 16.01.13.
