Fujifilm Announces The New INSTAX(TM) Mini 8 Instant Film Camera In Five Exciting Colors, Along With New Rainbow Color Framed Film

Valhalla, N.Y., January 7, 2013 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation today announced that it will add an all-new INSTAX™ Mini 8 instant film camera to its popular INSTAX line beginning in early 2013. In addition to offering user-friendly control functions, fun style, and fantastic image quality found in the current INSTAX mini models, the new fun and compact INSTAX Mini 8 line-up will also include new features, and be available in three new exciting colors – pink, blue and yellow – along with the classic white and black models.
 
With its ease of use and attractive design, the new INSTAX Mini 8 is slightly slimmer and offers new features and enhancements, including: an improved viewfinder for enhanced subject viewing; automatic exposure measurement for aperture settings; and a new high-key mode that enables users to take brighter photos – perfect for portraits.
 
New Rainbow Instant Mini Film
Also new for 2013 is a new INSTAX instant film with a colorful rainbow frame. The INSTAX Mini Rainbow film comes in vibrant packaging featuring 10 exposures each in an assortment of rainbow hued frames.  Both the new rainbow and original  INSTAX instant color films are ISO 800 that produce sharp clear reproduction for vivid color, natural skin tones and super fine grain instant prints.  INSTAX Mini Film is a credit-card sized 2”x3”, while the image area is 1.8” x 2.4”. The film has a blank strip at the bottom so that you can write a message under the photo.

The new FUJIFILM INSTAX Mini 8 will be available in early 2013, in an exciting selection of colors with an MSRP of $99.99. The new rainbow color framed  INSTAX Mini Instant Film will retail for approximately $10.99 for a 10 exposure pack.
