Lectrus Corporation, the leading manufacturer of electrically-integrated custom metal electrical enclosures, has expanded its project management staff at each of the company’s three facilities with the addition of new positions that have been recently filled with experienced talent. The company now employs 18 project managers, a level which is up 38% over 2011 staffing levels.

“Our business has become increasingly complex”, stated Deron Austin, VP of Marketing & Technical Services who also leads the company’s Project Management Office. “Over the past two years Lectrus entered new markets and acquired additional customers, resulting in higher workloads for our project managers. Customer service levels suffered and employee turnover increased. In response, we have added several new positions, expanded support staff, made significant training investments and talent upgrades. We are confident the expanded project management team is positioned to improve customer service levels at all locations.”

The Chattanooga Operation recently hired two new project managers: John Triplett and Radonna Parrish. John has 35 years of experience in managing rail construction projects throughout the US, Taiwan, Egypt, India and the UAE. He is a licensed professional engineer with degrees in electrical and rail systems engineering. Previous employers include Parsons, CH2MHill and Norfork Southern, and served in the United States Air Force. Like John, Rodanna is an engineering graduate from the University of Tennessee and a licensed professional engineer. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with 28 years of project management experience, 13 of which with Booz Allen Hamilton. Other past employers include Syncadd Systems, Insight Engineering and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

At its Houston Operation, Lectrus has added three new project managers: Michael Hertsenberg, Thomas Penrod and Cara Cuculic. Michael joins Lectrus from Biocrude, where he served as project manager and controller. Previous employers include Texas Systems and Controls, Beazer Homes and Thermal Solutions. He holds an undergraduate degree from Trinity University and an MBA from the University of Houston. Thomas has over 12 years of experience as project manager, working for other companies such as Emerson, Englobal, Northrup Grumman and IBM. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Texas A&M. Also a graduate of Texas A&M, Cara has joined the Houston team having served roles in project management, estimating and sales with employers including Enco Systems, Texas Systems and Controls and Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Company. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering and has spent the majority of her career working in engineered-to-order environments.

Earlier in 2012, the South Dakota Operation added project manager Marcus Weeldreyer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University and is a licensed professional engineer. Previous employers included: POET Design & Construction, Design Tanks, and Raven Industries. With the addition of Marcus, the South Dakota Operation’s three project managers handle both equipment center and generator enclosure projects for the company.

At Lectrus, the Project Manager serves as the primary contact with customers from time of contract until completed product is delivered and installed. They understand customer requirements, manage change orders, review designs, resolve challenges encountered during the production process, and track the status of projects, keeping customers informed at all times. Most importantly, Project Managers are responsible for assuring that Lectrus delivers high quality products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
