Technicolor provides Swisscom with its MediaTouch HomePilot tablet to support the launch of its smart secure living solution “Quing Home”

Paris (France), – Technicolor (Euronext Paris : TCH) today announces it is pleased to deploy its home automation tablet MediaTouch HomePilot as part of Swisscom’s “Quing Home” smart secure living offering. This first-of-a-kind solution in Switzerland combines security, automation, and energy management in one package to create a true smart home ecosystem, all controlled at a fingertip from the Quing Home’s managed tablet or from the smartphone application. Connected to the home network, the Quing Home tablet enables consumer to manage and monitor their home remotely.

Technicolor has worked closely with Swisscom to integrate its field-proven MediaTouch HomePilot tablet into its network and with its smart secure living service platform. With its secure voice and video communication features, integrated Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, GSM backup and Zigbee technology support, Technicolor’s MediaTouch Android tablet positions as the ideal home automation “hub” for the connected home. MediaTouch Home Pilot’s open architecture is also ready to support an expanding range of smart home devices to support Swisscom’s future services deployment.
