Three “Auto Trophy” Awards for Audi
At the “Auto Trophy 2012” presentations, three Audi models succeeded in overcoming the competition. Just over 100,000 readers of “Auto Zeitung” chose the Audi A1 as best in the small cars category with 36.4 percent of all votes. In the luxury class, the Audi A6 made an excellent impression with 18.5 percent, and among the SUVs costing from 30,000 euros, first place went to the Audi Q5 with 16.2 percent. These coveted awards were being presented for the 25th time. For the brand with the four rings, this brought its total to 53 individual car awards since the competition has been in existence. Audi A3: “Euro NCAP advanced” for exemplary active accident prevention
The Euro NCAP consortium honored the Audi A3 with no less than four “Euro NCAP advanced” awards. These awards are given for innovative accident prevention systems that go beyond the requirements of legal authorities and consumer protection organizations. New in the compact class are the active safety systems pre sens basic, pre sens front, secondary-collision brake assistant and active lane assist. Audi A3 and A7 Sportback are “Value Champions of 2013”
The new Audi A3 1.4 TDI Sportback and the A7 3.0 TDI are the cars with the best value stability in their classes. Since yesterday, they bear the title of “Value Champions of 2013,” which Auto Bild awards each year. Together with the residual value specialist Eurotax Schwacke, the magazine calculates the value trends for around 8,000 vehicle models on the German market with a view towards the next four years – an important factor in the total cost of an automobile.

A number of data flow into this calculation, such as sales success, brand image, volume trends in individual vehicle segments and economic constraints. (December 5, 2012)

Audi Q3 Trans China Tour in the Corporate Events category. Another Golden Apple went to the Audi brand pavilion in Autostadt Wolfsburg and a Silver Apple to the “Audi Ring”, the exhibit booth at which the brand presented its cars last year at the International Automobile Show (IAA). Audi A7 wins 2012 Australian People’s Choice Award
For the second time now, the Audi A7 Sportsback has won the Australian People’s Choice Award from carsales.com.au in the “Best Prestige Car Over $100,000” category. The finalists were picked by a professional jury of automotive journalists. Then visitors to the car portal selected the Audi A7 as the winner in online voting. (November 29, 2012)

Audi A6 3.0 TDI quattro: Car of the Year 2012 in Australia
After its success in 2011, the Audi A6 3.0 TDI quattro has once again won the Australian Car of the Year Award as the Best Luxury Car over $80,000. This award was sponsored by the Fairfax newspapers, The Age, Sydney Morning Herald and drive.com.au. Along with its elegant design and advanced technology, the new 3.0 TDI diesel engine in particular scored well among the award judges with its sporty performance. (November 29, 2012)

Audi Tradition receives “International Historic Motoring Award”
A high honor for Audi Tradition: The historical department of AUDI AG is one of the victors in the “International Historic Motoring Awards” sponsored by the English publication “Octane Magazine”. A high-caliber international jury named Audi Tradition winner in the “Industry Supporter of the Year 2012” category. Peter Kober, press spokesman for Audi Tradition, accepted the award from four-time Le Mans victor Derek Bell at a ceremony in the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London. (November 29, 2012)

A top ranking for Audi in the ADAC Auto MarxX 2012
Audi took second place in the ADAC “Auto MarxX 2012” competition, once again attaining a top position in the renowned competition. The index measures the strength of car brands and is surveyed every half-year by the largest automobile club in Germany. The brand with the four rings once again showed improvement compared to the last index in terms of “Market strength,” “Customer satisfaction” and “Safety”. USA: Audi Q7 wins ALG Residual Value Award
The Audi Q7 has won the “ALG Residual Value Award” in the category “Premium Midsize Utility Vehicle” at this year’s L.A. Auto Show. The award is given every year to carmakers whose products exhibit especially high value stability. The key aspects evaluated include production quality, brand image and long-term quality. US NCAP: Top ratings for Audi A4 and S4
The Audi A4 and the Audi S4 have been awarded the top rating of five stars in the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) in the USA. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) studies car behavior in frontal and side crashes as well as rollover safety. This means that the Audi models proved their excellent safety in one of the world’s toughest crash test programs. (November 30, 2012)

Audi A3: Car of the Year in Norway
The Audi A3 was also able to win over the very far North of Europe and now carries the title of “Car of the Year 2012”. The prize is awarded every year by Tabloid newspaper and the Norwegian version of Top Gear. The jury, made up of members of various environment and road safety organizations, praised in particular the good build quality, sporty handling and future-oriented drive technologies, such as the planned natural gas version of the A3. Golden Steering Wheel for the Audi A3 in Turkey
After its success in Germany, the Audi A3 has also won the Turkish “Golden Steering Wheel” in the compact class.
