Eli Young Band Earns Career First GRAMMY Nominations

Nashville, TN --- Dec 6, 2012 --- Last night, Republic Nashville artist Eli Young Band earned the first GRAMMY nominations of their career.  The band garnered a nomination for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.”

The foursome was in the recording studio last night when they heard the news. “This is one of the biggest honors you can have in music,” said Jon Jones EYB bass player.  “It’s great that we were all sitting here together in the studio when we heard the news.  We’re actually in the same studio where we recorded the last album.  This was completely unexpected. I have the chills.”

The band will continue with pre-production for their new album this week before heading to Las Vegas this weekend for the ACA Awards.  Where the band is nominated for three awards and will appear on the show next Monday, live on FOX.
