New Home Sales Strengthening at ArrowWood Homes in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Albuquerque, NM (Nov. 29, 2012) – New home sales are on the rise at ArrowWood Homes in New Mexico.  While sales traditionally slow down as the holidays approach, ArrowWood Homes is experiencing increased activity.  In the first two weeks of November, the community has seen three new home sales.

According to the National Association of Realtors Chief Economist Lawrence Yun, buyers are reacting to favorable market conditions.  Yun states “We’ve had very good housing affordability conditions for quite some time, but we’re seeing more impact now”.  The NAR reports that home sales jumped 5.2% in October, its highest level since March 2007.  Low interest rates, good housing affordability conditions and rising consumer confidence about home buying is reflected in 18 consecutive months of rising sales.
