Ahlstrom Green Bay Inc. awarded ISO 9001: 2000 certification

Ahlstrom Corporation, a leader in high-performance fiber-based materials, today announced that its Green Bay, WI, USA plant has been awarded the ISO 9001: 2000 certification by SGS North America, a member of the SGS Group, the world’s largest Control and Inspection Company. This is the first time that the Green Bay plant has received this accreditation.

The audit lasted 2.5 days and the auditors praised Green Bay’s design function and the overall knowledge of all involved in the registration.

The Green Bay plant manufactures predominantly nonwovens for the growing North American wipes market and is now certified for “The Design and Manufacture of Resin Bond and Spunlace Nonwoven roll products”.
