QinetiQ Commerce Decisions’ Award® Software is Available on G-Cloud Ii / Rm1557 Ii Framework

QinetiQ Commerce Decisions, leading provider of software and services to support strategic procurement projects, has been awarded a place on Lots 3 and 4 of the G-Cloud II framework by the Government Procurement Service. Lot 3 is the framework for Software as a Service (SaaS) and Lot 4 is for Specialist Cloud Services.

The G-Cloud Programme is a cross government initiative to develop a secure and high performance cloud infrastructure for the public sector. Its aim is to make it easier for public authorities to move computing services to the cloud, enabling them to take advantage of new technologies in order to deliver faster business benefits and reduce cost.

Following a procurement under the OJEU process, the GPS had already established the G-Cloud I framework last year – the G-Cloud II framework has now increased the scope of services available to the public sector. The services can be purchased through the CloudStore without the need to run a tender or mini competition with suppliers: http://gcloud.civilservice.gov.uk/cloudstore/. There are four service category lots: Infrastructure, Software, Platform and Specialist Services. QinetiQ Commerce Decisions has been awarded a framework agreement contract for Lots 3 and 4, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Specialist Cloud Services.
