It is currently among the leading corporate foundations in France, both in terms of financial allocations and the number of projects initiated.

Set up in 1992, it is one of the oldest French corporate foundations. The various activities carried out over the years have led it to occupy a special place in the heart of Air France staff.

The Air France Foundation Prize

Since 2009, during an annual awards ceremony, the Air France Foundation Prize has been honouring men and women for their efforts in favour of children and young people who are sick.

The 2012 Air France Foundation Prize, which will be awarded on 21 November 2012 at the Musée des Arts Forains in Paris attended by Hélène Conway-Mouret, Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad, attached to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. It will go to Isabelle Boursier and Nataly Charbonnier, the two founding members of the charity “Aïna, Enfance et Avenir”. This charity, which has been sponsored by Laurent Voulzy for the past four years, provides solutions aimed at giving Malagasy children from disadvantaged backgrounds, underprivileged teenage mothers and their babies a better future.

François Brousse, President of the Air France Foundation, stresses: «What characterizes the Air France Foundation is first and foremost the unwavering support it has received from the Company over these past twenty years. The Foundation’s second major characteristic is its strong connection with the Company’s workforce, all professions combined, be it cabin crews and ground staff, expatriated staff and local agents. The Foundation has thus been able to make long-term commitments, underlying the success of the projects it supports.»
