Energy Future Holdings and Its Employees Contribute More Than $185,000 for Red Cross Disaster Relief

DALLAS – – Responding to emergencies in Texas as well as Hurricane Sandy’s immense devastation, Energy Future Holdings and its employees have contributed more than $185,000 in 2012 for the American Red Cross’s relief efforts to provide care for those in need.

With operations across Texas, EFH partners with multiple local Red Cross agencies to help individuals, families and communities rebuild after disasters. The company’s support also extends to the Red Cross’s national and global humanitarian work. When Hurricane Sandy struck, EFH and its employees from EFH Business Services, TXU Energy and Luminant were quick to contribute to the massive response.
