YesVideo is Named Winner for Most Customer Friendly Company of the Year in Best in Biz Awards

YesVideo has been named a winner in the Most Customer Friendly Company of the Year category by the Best in Biz awards, the only independent business awards program judged by industry analyst and press.

YesVideo’s team leads in customer service, say judges in top-tier news, business and tech publications

Today YesVideo, the global leader in transferring and sharing personal videos, announced that it has been named a winner in the Most Customer Friendly Company of the Year category by the Best in Biz awards, the only independent business awards program judged by industry analysts and press.
More than 400 entries were received in this year’s awards program, from an array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries in the U.S. and Canada.
Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2012 were determined by an independent panel of 32 judges from top-tier news, business and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms, such as ABC, Businessweek, Computerworld, ECT News Network, Entrepreneur, eWeek, Examiner, Financial Times, Forbes, FOX News, Hartford Business Journal, IDG Ventures, IEEE Institute, Inc., Insight Media, King Features Syndicate, Lab Reviews, Network World, The News and Observer, PC Magazine, ReadWriteWeb, South Florida Business Journal, Tech-Gaming, Techtalk, Upstart Business Journal, USA Today and ZDNet.
“We are incredibly proud of our team and we believe that our stellar customer service has helped us achieve our position as the market leader,” said Michael Chang, CEO of YesVideo. “We process thousands of videos each day, and remain committed to treating every single order with great care. Everyone on our team worked hard to win this award, and we are thrilled about it.”
YesVideo’s Customer Care team of 35 employees handle an average of 8500 contacts per week, 94 percent of which are phone calls and 6 percent email.
The most common inquiries are directed toward the services performed by the company, with Customer Care team members taking time to explain the details and  provide reassurance that the customer’s order will be safe and secure throughout the process:
1.     YesVideo works closely with UPS to ensure the safe arrival and return delivery of each order.
2.     Video surveillance records the entire process.
3.     Every order is assigned a unique barcode, allowing easy tracking at every step.
4.     Before the order is sealed for shipment, an inventory check is performed to ensure that all parts are present and correct.
5.     YesVideo maintains electronic back-ups of every order.
YesVideo shows its dedication to friendly customer service every day, but one day this year the company’s commitment stood out: A company movie film production specialist, Venera Bejtullahu, opened a film canister to begin processing a client’s 16mm film reel, but unexpectedly found thirty $100 bills hidden underneath the reel!
Upon discovering the surprise, Bejtullahu spoke with her supervisor about returning the money to the customer. That customer was a 90-year old widow named Evelyn Weiner, a resident of Rotunda West, Florida. Evelyn had dropped the film reel off at her local Walmart  to preserve the footage for her daughter, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and generations to come. YesVideo sent back her money along with her vintage film, superbly transferred to a new DVD.
Once the money was returned to her, a shocked Evelyn remarked, “People don’t believe good things happen anymore, but there are still honest people out there, and this whole experience was really beyond my wildest dreams.”
Besides this example of dedication to the customer experience, YesVideo places the consumer experience first in its business plan. It recently made its cloud storage service free and unlimited to all customers.
In other words, customers can now view their digitized memories on any web-connected device, anywhere, without the DVD. Unlimited cloud storage means that YesVideo provides a digital library for all of America’s home videos – for free. Customers can easily share their videos via Facebook and email.
Consumers have shown that they trust YesVideo and its retail partners – including Walmart, Walgreens, Costco, Meijer, and CVS/pharmacy – with their millions of personal moments: weddings, birthdays, first steps and graduations. America has awarded YesVideo with their business, and now the Best in Biz Awards has named them Most Customer Friendly Company of the Year, Silver Winner.
