WEBWIRE

Valhalla, N.Y., October 15, 2012 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation today announced a new advertising and social media campaign to showcase the fun and unique INSTAX Mini 7S instant film camera, dubbed “The Official Party Camera.” The INSTAX Mini 7S is a fantastic instant print camera that is perfect for every gathering with family and friends, and it allows consumers to instantly capture and share the most important moments in their life.

The new INSTAX campaign, called “Life’s a Party,” will showcase the fun and party-perfect INSTAX cameras and include advertising, social media, and a photo sweepstakes that will run from November 2012 to January 2013. Consumers will see print advertisements for INSTAX in Seventeen magazine, a very popular national teen publication that reaches more than one million teens per month, as well as behaviorally-targeted online banners on select fashion websites from Cosmopolitan magazine, Seventeen and the Glam Media Network.

In addition, Fujifilm will use its new INSTAX Facebook page to host the photo sweepstakes that will give users a chance to win several different INSTAX prize packages by entering their party pictures on the Fujifilm INSTAX Facebook page.

“There is an entire generation of young people who have never experienced an instant photo print and there is a renewed enthusiasm for instant film photography. That’s why Fujifilm in North America is launching a new campaign to highlight the FUJIFILM INSTAX line of instant film cameras, and show consumers just how fun INSTAX can be as the ‘Official Party Camera’,” said Manny Almeida, senior vice president and general manager, Imaging and Electronic Imaging Divisions, FUJIFILM North America Corporation.

The new INSTAX campaign also offers consumers a chance to see INSTAX in person, too. In October, Fujifilm will display a large INSTAX camera and film photo booth cut out at the exciting Photo Plus Expo, which will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on October 25-27 in New York City.

As the new INSTAX campaign begins, consumers are going to be reintroduced to all of the fun and creative possibilities that come from INSTAX instant film cameras – so keep a look out for the INSTAX “Official Party Camera” near you!
