New eBook Launched Focusing on Values and Character Development in Children
Author of the Book, Larry Shealy Wants to Give Parents the Same Model, Which He Has Successfully Utilized Since 2004 to Inculcate Moral Values and Character Traits in His Students.
Jacksonville, FL September 23, 2012 – James J. Heckman said, “Early childhood interventions of high quality have lasting effects on learning and motivation.” Learning moral values and developing noble character start right from the childhood and parents plays an important role in child’s personality development.
Keeping this in mind, Popular Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Black Belt teacher, Larry Shealy has launched his new book, “The Values Driven Child: Parenting with Purpose” aiming to inculcate moral values involving better behavior, good manners, self-confidence, positive attitude and self-reliance in children.
The author has a deep concern about the development of children and requests the parents to get back to the basics and eradicate poor manners, low self-esteem, bad attitudes in their wards. The author is worried about losing our valuable generation to poor education, decaying society, bad influences and filthy literature.
Shealy says: “Our values have been attacked from all angles. We have been fighting a battle and losing. However, our fight in the battle has been non-existent. We have not been on the front end of the action to ‘save our children’, to dig back in, and teach them the way our parents and grandparents taught us.”
