China Datacenter Forum Opening to be Officiated by Ministry of Information and Industry

Shanghai/London – 20 September 2012 – International consulting firm BroadGroup has announced that Mr He Baohong, Director of Communications Standards Research Institute, China Academy of Telecommunication Research, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will officiate at the opening of the inaugural Datacentres China forum which takes place in Shanghai, 2 November 2012 (www.datacentreschina.com).
 
Mr He also holds the posts of Director of Internet Center of Communications Standards Research Institute and is Vice Chairman of the IP & Multimedia Technology Working Committee, China Communications Standards Association.  He will be followed by Mr Zheng Hong, Secretary General of Data Center Industry Alliance of China who will provide an opening presentation.
 
The forum brings together the leadership of datacentres in China with international experts, and will discuss current growth in the sector has been fast paced. Research by BroadGroup, suggests that the deployment of large scale cloud computing centres, disaster recovery and backup requirements and outsourcing will boost demand for reliable facilities.
 
Reflecting these opportunities, the conference programme includes China datacentre leadership roundtable, a market perspective of China, with current trends in demand across the region and growth forecasts based on new research by BroadGroup. Topics also include datacentre finance and investment, renewable energy in China, modular datacentres, fibre connectivity and cabling systems and cloud evolution.
