Net Entertainment Moves Forward In Mobile Gambling Industry

London,UK, September 5th, 2012 – With more and more online casino software developers moving towards the world of mobile gambling, it came as no surprise when the Swedish online gambling group, Net Entertainment decided to launch its NetEnt Touch solution in the final month of 2011.

Now, the group has made even bigger strides into the mobile betting market by launching some of its mobile casino games titles on devices which are powered by the Android operating system. NetEnt Touch was originally compatible only with iOS for iPhones and iPads, and the expansion to Android platform is seen as an important step for the Stockholm based Net Entertainment.

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Net Entertainment, Per Eriksson was excited to share the news of the group’s move to Android compatibility and said: “We are committed to making sure that our mobile games remain world leading and the natural step for us was to launch them on Android devices.”

He added that Android was narrowing the gap with iOS and therefore NetEnt sees great growth potential in both mobile operating systems.

The casino mobile games that can be played via Net Entertainment’s mobile systems (both iOS and now Android) are as follows: Gonzo’s Quest, Jack Hammer, Blackjack, Flowers, Victorious, Suptopia and Mythic Maiden. There are seven games in all, and Net Entertainment said that it would make all future games compatible with both platforms.
