New for 2012, the Hyundai Veloster Turbo – coming soon to Charles Hurst Dundonald

Scheduled for an early August launch, the new Hyundai Veloster Turbo is the latest high-powered coupe from the South Korean manufacturer. The model was displayed at the Salon de l’Auto in Montreal earlier this year, and has already made an appearance in the award-winning Forza Motorsport 4 video game. It becomes the newest addition to a varied range of cars, capably blending in with the hatchbacks, tourers and saloons that have given the brand a reputation for quality.
 
The Veloster Turbo will feature an updated body design and an aspirated 1.6-litre petrol engine, which has increased the car’s output by more than half. The steering system has been almost completely reworked, and both the primary control and exhaust systems have been given a sportier restyle. It has an impressive fuel economy for a vehicle of its class, and borrows the supportive suspension from the base Veloster model.
 
A spokesperson for the Charles Hurst Hyundai dealership made the following comments: “When the new Hyundai Veloster Turbo is released on August 9th, we’ll have it in stock and on display at our showroom in Dundonald. We’d like to invite our local customers to test drive the Veloster when it goes on sale.”
