During late May, June, and July Seward’s 2012 summer program offers weekly programs. Children under three will have weekly Story Time sessions as well as special time with their parents in the library. The library offers three weeks of afternoon programs in June and two weeks in July for kids in kindergarten through fourth grade. These programs feature weekly themes and activities. The library offers music on Wednesday afternoons and movie viewing Friday afternoons. Those in 5th and 6th grade will have late afternoon programs on Mondays.

Adults are also encouraged to participate in “Dream Big-READ!”. Readers can also participate in programs and even earn rewards for their reading selections. The last week of June will feature special events as the library prepares for its annual 4th of July Used Book Bash.

The summer Reading Club finale will feature a performance by String Beans on July 26th at the Bandshell. Please visit the library website, www.sewardlibrary.org, for more information on specific details, times, and dates.
