Made In America - Florida Business Creates Manufacturing Jobs And Destroys Political Myths

Ryan Ellis, the owner of has proven that American pride in manufacturing is still alive and well. His growing company produces a variety of American made products and still manages to be a low price leader.

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- The idea of “Made In America” has a special meaning to Ryan Ellis, the owner of a manufacturing company in the City of Sunrise, a quiet suburb located just west of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Since its inception just 3 years ago, has grown from a one man part-time operation to a fully functioning manufacturing and fulfillment facility with 11 full time staff members.  Incredibly, despite the down economy, Ellis’ company is continuing to grow and expected to add 4 new jobs by next month alone.

Ellis believes the success of his small business has everything to do with the fact that nearly every component of his products is manufactured in America.

Ellis stated: “We have built our business on Made In America. Our plastics, metals, even our lasers, printers and inks are made right here in the states.  We show a real commitment to keeping jobs here at home.  Made in America has allowed us to provide our customers  with a better product at low pricing and this has been instrumental in our growth.” And with most of his materials being manufactured in America, Ellis seems to truly stand by his convictions.  As he continued: ”The more I’m speaking with suppliers and partners in the industry, the more I’m realizing there is a resurgence of American pride in manufacturing.”

Turns out, the only component on a typical name badge not made in America is the magnetic fastener.  China controls 97% of the rare-earth industry and it’s just not possible to source these from the states.  However, Ellis explained that he is constantly on the lookout for a competitive American-made solution.

The sales of show immediate impact in his home city by providing great jobs to local residents.  But there is more to this story, provides products to the U.S.A., Canada, and several other countries around the world and with a vast majority of sales coming from outside of the State of Florida, Ellis’ company is actually bringing more money into the state and helping to grow the local economies.

Amazingly, this desire to manufacture in America hasn’t hurt prices at all. "We are a low price leader in our industry, we provide better products, made in America, and do it at great prices with world-class service,” said Ellis.  In fact, the staff is not only paid higher than average wages, they also enjoy prime benefits like vacation time and quality health insurance almost fully paid for by the company.  Quite unusual for such a small business.  And as for Ellis’ claims of world-class service, a quick internet search of reviews brings up nothing by 5-star praise for his products and services.

“You can manufacture better products in America at competitive prices and even provide great jobs with health care.  Manufacturing in America is far from dead, and hard working American labor continues to produce the best products in the world. In this  economic climate, we could certainly use more companies like”
