ViewTrade Securities Names Peter J. D’Agostino Director of Newly Launched ViewTrade Research

Jersey City, NJ. – July 12, 2012 – ViewTrade Securities Inc. (ViewTrade), a full service broker dealer and investment banking services firm, announced today the appointment of Wall Street veteran Peter J. D’Agostino as Director of ViewTrade’s Research Division.
 
ViewTrade President, James St. Clair said: “We are extremely pleased to add Peter to the team. Peter brings years of experience in research and his talents and extensive relationships should bring our organization value as well. His experience starting as an investment advisor and moving into equity research analyst and director of research, gives him a unique perspective that fits well with ViewTrade. Peter is an entrepreneur at heart and brings a proven network of analysts, investors and institutions that will allow us to expand our relationships with domestic institutional investors. Adding a Research Division will increase our footprint and allow additional expansion of our all divisions, including our trading platform, retail and investment banking practice.” 
 
Mr. D’Agostino will initially focus on the underserved small and mid-cap area. Mr. D’Agostino said, “Many small companies have solid fundamentals or strong growth outlooks but do not have strong presence in the financial community. These small public companies need credible analyst coverage to provide investors with important insight into the company’s future prospects. Building on ViewTrade’s solid foundation with approximately $2 billion in assets under management and a global institutional client base, I look forward to creating and launching an equity research department to help introduce and build financial valuation for deserving small companies and their shareholders.”
 
Mr. D’Agostino started his career as an investment advisor with AXA Financial where, among other duties, he taught investment classes to the firm’s 100 plus investment advisors and managers. He also created and ran a fixed income department where he built a large book of business. He was subsequently hired as a senior equity research analyst in biotechnology by Sidoti & Co. LLC, where he maintained coverage on nine companies. D’Agostino, as a Director at Sidoti, co-launched the company’s new microcap department.  Most recently, D’Agostino was President of AMI Research, an independent equity research firm.  D’Agostino is a Cum Laude graduate of Kean University and has an MBA in Finance from Pace University in New York.
