Zebra printing interface released as part of Resco MobileForms Toolkit

Printing on Zebra with Windows Mobile/CE devices over Bluetoth and WiFi is now available. Resco, a leading vendor of advanced developer components and tools for mobile devices and powerful mobile business solutions, updates Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2012 with Zebra printing interface. This new feature will help developers to add printing on any type of Zebra printer from Windows Mobile or Windows CE device over the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Zebra is the world’s leading manufacturer of mobile printers. These mobile printers are being widely used to print tickets, labels or receipts with or without barcodes. Zebra offers a wide range of mobile printers that are easily portable for any environments and purposes. Resco is now supporting the Zebra printers on their Toolkit that will allow printing on Zebra printers using the WM and Win CE phones.

Resco provides the Zebra printing interface with a sample application that has 4 parts:
Data – consists of sample database of customers and orders. This data is used only for demo purposes. Developer can easily enrich the database with data he needs.
UI – lists and buttons with touch functionality for easy navigation
Reporting – set of classes based on XML templates. The app features text, image, line and barcode objects, but other objects can be easily included in the app as well
Printing – Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection is being used to print reporting part on Zebra printers
