Pittsburgh, PA, June 5, 2012 -- Red Blue Voice, a Pittsburgh-based internet company seeking to provide free outreach and media services to nonprofits, political groups and social advocacy groups, has partnered with local group Community Human Services to provide crowd-sourced media solutions for expanded local awareness of the group.

Community Human Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a forty-year history of providing community-based housing coupled with comprehensive supportive services to enhance people’s lives and strengthen communities. Today, the organization serves thousands across Allegheny County and offers a range of services for people experiencing homelessness, physical and mental health challenges, and support for families with young children. With Red Blue Voice’s online tools, CHS will now be able to make the community aware of its important work without having to allocate any money to a media budget. The crowd-sourced function of Red Blue Voice also provides an opportunity for members of its community, its staff, and the people the organization serves to have their voices heard.

Red Blue Voice offers an online crowd-sourcing platform for social and political issues that’s also ideal for nonprofits. A nonprofit creates a profile page, and then any motivated citizen can create television, radio, print or online media to support that cause. Once the media is uploaded, supporters of the nonprofit can donate in small amounts to fund the media. When enough money has been collected for a television commercial run, a print ad, or a radio or online spot, Red Blue Voice books and distributes the media. The nonprofit or group is able to get media created, funded and booked without spending a dime of their own money through the power of crowdsourcing.

Said Josh Lucas, President of Red Blue Voice, “We’re excited that one of the first nonprofits to see the value of our service and reach out to leverage our tools is both local and doing such important work. We’re excited to work with Community Human Services to help make others more aware of what they do and how they can help.”
