Online Printing Firm Introduces Mascot & Offers Chance to Win a Kindle Touch

The company is offering entrants the chance to win a brand new Kindle Touch; all they have to do is come up with an amusing caption for the photo posted on their blog of Berty indulging in some office hi-jinks.
 
Berty Betterprint is made entirely of paper, and was introduced on the company’s blog last month along with a downloadable, ‘Create Your Own’ PDF.
 
“We’ve got big plans for Berty” said Betterprint Managing Director David Bennett,
“This is just the first step.”
 
“We were trying to think of a way to set us apart from our competitors in the business printing industry, and decided that Berty would bring some levity to our blog, and also an interactive element, evidenced by promotions like the caption competition.”
 
“In the future we see little Bertys in offices up and down the country, but we’re not going to reveal all our plans right at the start!”
 
Berty Betterprint, the caption competition and the Kindle Touch giveaway are part of a new direction for the Betterprint blog, which also features old-style adverts for modern brands like eBay.
 
“We’re taking the blog in a more creative direction in an attempt to engage more effectively with our customers” explained Mr Bennett.
 
“We understand that search engines are putting the emphasis on quality content, and we’re trying to move with the times and really create an original and interesting identity for our brand.”
