BB&T Insurance Services instituted the Lighthouse Beam Occupational Safety Award Program to promote the prevention of workplace injuries. Recognition is provided based on overall safety performance and awards are granted for commendable, outstanding, and excellent performance. The criteria for the award includes both the client’s NCCI experience modification rating as well as their OHSA recordable incident rate. For the past year, GreenWood maintained an incident rate ranked in the upper quartile of the lowest industry incident rates.
