The Kentucky Derby Goes Off at The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar

For Immediate Release – Denver, Colo. – Don your fancy hat because The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar will be hosting a Derby Day Brunch and After-Party for the 2012 Kentucky Derby on May 5, in partnership with the world-famous Denver Derby Party. The annual Denver Derby Party raises tens of thousands of dollars for the Sean “Ranch” Lough Memorial Scholarship Fund and is known to be the largest Derby party outside of Churchill Downs. For the first time, this year’s Denver Derby Party will take place in downtown Denver, along the newly revitalized 14th Street, home of The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar.
 
For those looking to make the Derby an all-day event, The Corner Office will kick off festivities with a special Saturday brunch, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Brunch highlights include a Southern-style buffet with a Mexican twist as well as The Corner Office’s famous do-it-yourself Bloody Mary bar, complete with more than 50 ingredients and garnishes to select from.
 
After the “most exciting two minutes in sports” is complete, Derby Party attendees can cruise down to the after-party at The Corner Office. For only $10 at the door, which will go directly to the Sean Lough Memorial Scholarship Fund, revelers can carry on the Derby fun, dancing to a terrific D.J. while noshing on specialty Derby-day cuisine including Southern-style Derby tacos, Kentucky Hot Browns and Derby Pie. In addition The Corner Office will offer a variety of featured cocktails such as The Skinny Frilly and Eight Belles. The fun begins at 5 p.m. and lasts until 2 a.m. May 6.
